The Ride
Hidden behind a facade of rusted carnival lights and cracked plaster devils, The Devils's Den plunges riders into pure Hell. It was once part of a traveling attraction that mysteriously shut down mid-tour in the 1950's after multiple guest vanished during the ride's final run. The ride was relocated to Ghost Lake under unclear circumstances. It may have just "appeared" one day, track and all.
The Real Horror
The Devil's Den doesn't follow a standard route. The tracks shift, cars pause longer than they should, rooms seem aware of their occupants. Animatronics twitch in the dark, even when powered off. The air is thick with mildew and brimstone.
The ride takes you through infernal tableaus...twisted depictions of damnation that seem tailored to your worst fears. Be prepared to see your doppelganger in the final scene.
A few cars have returned empty. The park staff say it's all part of the illusion. But what kind of illusion leaves claw marks on the guests?
The Curse
The Devil's Den is a gateway--not to Hell, but to the "mind" of the lake itself. Where the Labyrinth thinks, the Den dreams. Every scene is a memory the lake refused to drown--fear-soaked moments dragged from the minds of those who entered before...and didn't leave.
The devil doesn't live here. He just rides shotgun.
